A small Taxe de Séjour - or tourist tax - of 25 centimes per person (13yrs and over) per night is also payable, from June to September inclusive.

There are a number of good restaurants within easy reach providing excellent and traditional French cuisine, and even a MacDonalds in Fontenay! Although we do not routinely provide evening meals, we may be able to help with a light snack if you expect to arrive too late to eat out - please ask in advance!

French Bed and Breakfast breaks

We have a choice of three B&B rooms - or Chambre d'Hôtes - all comfortably and attractively furnished, and equipped with en-suite wc, washbasin and shower, French colour television, clock radio, and tea/coffee making facilities. The guest dining room also doubles as a lounge area, with English satelite TV, while outside there is a large garden area with picnic bench which you are welcome to use during your stay.

We offer a taste of France with our continental breakfast, including, of course, croissants or pains aux chocolats, plus preserves, cereals, fruit and French bread etc as standard, but can also provide a cooked English breakfast if you prefer, for a small extra charge.
